2010 Onsite Camping Passes and Early Bird Tickets Available Now!

Wait, seriously? Does that mean that it's going to be Spring soon?

Yes, it's true. 2010 Camping Passes (both Onsite and Offsite) are now available, and if you're looking to buy one, there's no time like the present. No, really... they're going like hotcakes and they'll be gone before you know it. (We are aware that there was a computer glitch in the wee hours of the morning, but it has been fixed and all should be up and a-runnin' now.) The office will be staffed during normal business hours from here on through the festival, so if you'd like to call and order tickets over the phone, 607-387-5098 is the number you're looking for. Order tickets and camping here!

Visit the Camping Page on our website for a couple of slightly new and altered policies (nothing huge, mostly pre-festival parking issues).

And stay tuned for lineup announcements and other thrilling info -- we've got tricks up our sleeve that you won't believe for the 20th annual festival. As always, feel free to leave a comment with suggestions, or email us via this form.

We can't wait for this summer (for so many reasons)... we'll see you then!

Can someone please offer some of their experience with lining up before the festival on RR Rd. Just wondering what to expect. It's my 2nd festival, first time onsite. Thanks!

park on RR rd. on TUESDAY after3pm. if you can thats the best bet for getting in and getting a great spot. i think there really isn't a bad spot inside so aslong as you are line up on the road you should have no problems.

Less than 2 days and sold out! We have a 2 month old, a 2 year old, and a 4 year old and are in desperate need of an onsite vehicle pass. If you have an extra, please email me at jfklein2000@yahoo.com. Thanks!

More curious as to the actual line on RR rd. Is the road still open to traffic tues-thurs? Is it an actual line or more or a "parking lot" and a mad dash when the gates open. Just trying to make a plan for the two days just hanging on the side of the road. Everyone is free to come by my car for a beer and a hug.

Wow sold out of camping in 48 hours!!! As for RR rd. The road is open to thru traffic until thursday morning when it is then blocked off for thru traffic, all cars are on the sides of rr rd with all FOUR tires must be off the pavement, or you WILL be towed. You can park after Tuesday 3pm. As for when the gates open Thursday. It usally at Noon and its " Dixie Stampede" style. First come frist serve on camping spots. RV camping is directed to its own area, but the reat of vehicle camping is a "blitz" to put it best. Everything works its way out nicely and there really isnt a bad spot once your inside. SO basically the earlier you get in line on RR.Rd. the better. they have two lines in an orderly fashion getting to the gate. After that is up to you. The web site has a section with all the rules and regulations. http://www.grassrootsfest.org/festival/index.cfm?fuseaction=page.display&page_id=34

Anyone know if the Falls Tavern Area will be open for camping this year? It was only available for parking last year.

Do the police care if we have a small grill on the side of the road?

If you're going early, the storage shed area on RR Road is a pretty good place to settle on Wednesday night. You can park off the road, party a bit, and it's pretty easy to get in line to snag a decent site on Thursday.

Does anyone know if there will be any snow on the ground? I slipped and fell on some a few years ago and it totally freaks me out. I have some Yaktrax If I need them, but I don't think it will be that cold.
