2010 Band List Posted!

Yes, Virginia, there is a band list, and it's a whopper.

See it here: 2010 Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival Performers

We've invited some big names and many old friends to take part in our 20th anniversary festival (yes, 20!), and we hope you'll be as excited as we are to welcome them to Trumansburg this summer.

We've got Merle Haggard:

... and Burning Spear:

... and Arrested Development:

... and Rusted Root:

... and Oliver Mtukudzi:

... and Railroad Earth:

...and about 4 dozen others. A-list all the way this year, folks! Are we gonna see you there?

Can't wait til July!

I will miss the Mutron Warriors this year - they played twice last year and I'm hooked. I was surprised they weren't on the line up.

Very glad Ayurveda is coming back again!

Great line up as usual, but sadly the absence of the horseflies is a big hole for me, pysched to see Mountain Heart again, they were our best new find last year! July can't come soon enuf...

Sad not to see Scythian, the Dukhs, Horseflies... Thought maybe we would see the Avett Brothers on the list for the big 20th Anniversary... oh well I'm sure is will still be a good festival...

With Keith Frank recently announcing his pending retirement from performing music, this may be the last year to enjoy his late night dance parties under the big top. So get your fill til the break of dawn.

The Horseflies played here for the past 20 years. I think they deserve to get one year off.

I so wish I could be there... sadly I'm stuck on the other side of the world :-( Will have to try for next year...
I remember seeing Rusted Root at Grassroots what seems like a million years ago (I guess it was 1992 - the glorious mud!) Lovely to see Sim Redmon's face on the homepage... I went to school with him and Sujata Sidhu, they rock! And Kevin Kinsella and John Brown's Body... oh I so want to be there!!
